Source changes:
I've tweaked the user interface so Genny no longer expects or needs exactly an 80x25 character environment.
I've added actions to Genny Chat and a way to turn message beeping on and off.
I also cleaned out little bugs and made some of the source nicer. (This happens all the time...)
I fixed a user interface issue on FreeBSD 3.
Legacy broadcast functions have been removed from genny.py, which means they work in gennylib.py now.
Plans:
I think I'll make a Bugzilla data base for posting of bugs and feature requests, and for marking them as fixed.
Entirely differently...
Genny is the code name of GnutellaDev's Gnutella replacement effort.
I want a different name for it as well. It should be a short summary of what Genny intends to be. It will be a public name for people associate with the network, and the protocol.
After we get a new, real and/or public name, I'll start building up some central resource sites on Genny and the real internet. Which would make my life and that of a Genny newbie much easier.
