Command Line Parameters
Parameter | Purpose |
filename ... | Specifies one or more files to open or process. Wildcards (*, ?) are supported. |
-clipboard:filename | Copies the specified file to the clipboard for batch processing. Use with -process. |
-close | Automatically closes GoldWave when playback or recording stops. Use with -play or -record. |
-config | Starts GoldWave and displays the Setup Options window. |
-new | Automatically creates a new file using the settings under File | New. See the GoldWave Manual for more information about specifying the attributes and the filename on the command line. |
-nosplash | Does not show the startup splash screen. |
-outfolder | Specifies the destination folder for all processed files for batch processing. This overrides the batch preset Folder settings. Use with -process. |
-play | Plays the file given on the command line. |
-process
-proclog | Starts GoldWave in batch processing mode. See the GoldWave Manual for information about using batch processing from the command line. |
-record | Automatically starts recording. Use with -new to create a new file or with a filename to record in an existing file. |
-region:start,length | Sets the initial selection for the first audio file given on the command line. start is the starting point in samples. length is the number of samples to select. If either start or length contain a decimal point, then both values are assumed to be units of time rather samples. |
-same | Opens the file in the currently running session of GoldWave rather than starting a new session. |
-subfolders | Adds all subfolders when used with batch processing and a patterned filename is given (such as *.wav). Use with -process. See folder information in the GoldWave Manual before using this parameter. |
