Resample

Menu Command: Effect | Resample

Changes the sampling rate of the entire sound using a polyphase resampling filter. Unlike Playback Rate, this command re-calculates all of the audio data so that the pitch and playback time are not affected. You are prompted to enter a new rate. Use this effect to convert files to a specific rate, such as the standard CD audio sampling rate of 44100Hz, or to the telephony rate of 8000Hz.
