Change Volume

Menu Command: Effect | Volume | Change Volume

Change Volume modifies the selection so that it sounds louder or quieter. The volume is given in decibels with a 0dB reference level. Positive values above 0dB increase the volume. Negative values below 0dB decrease the volume. A value of 0dB leaves the volume unchanged. If you are unfamiliar with the decibel scale, adjust the fader and watch the percentage value.
